The cultural vocation of the city is evident

The cultural dimension of the town will soon reach national level, when the building up of the City of the Culture at the Castle's skirts is finished. It includes, among other facilities, an auditorium, a library, audition halls and open air stages.

A wide network of facilities keeps the cultural pulse during the whole year. The Museum offers temporary expositions that change constantly and there are other exhibition spaces as the Community Culture House (Casa de la Cultura) and halls like the Romano Gallery. The referential stages are the Gutiérrez de Alba Theatre and the Municipal Stand or Caseta. But also the community municipal centres or the entities and associations headquarters contribute to cultural life. Next to these permanent spaces there are also other ones that make good use of privileged stages like the Castle along the Summer Festivals.
