In Spain the Metric System of 7 basic units, known as International System of Units (SI); all our units of weight, measure and distances are ruled according it.
The tapas, an institution at our region, are hors d'oeuvre served on a small plates that were used formerly to cover glasses (their name comes from this, as a tapa is Spanish for lid) in order to prevent that way dust got into them.
