You should take in account than in Spain:
You will not be able to travel with your pet if it belongs to an endangered species.
The animal must be identified by means of microchip or tattoo; it has also to be accompanied by a veterinary certificate form or a passport, depending on its species.
It must travel inside a pet cage/carrier.
Most of establishments do not admit pets.
Most of restaurants do not admit pets.
We recommend you that before you started your travel, do ask your hotel and travel company about their admission and conditions when travelling with pets.

Before getting in Spain, your animal will have to meet some health and identification requirements that can be different depending on your home country. Besides:
Your pet must be vaccinated against rabies.
