The Riberas del Guadaíra Auditorium closes the year as a metropolitan center of cultural attraction, television, congresses and events.

The comparsa of Martínez Ares ‘La oveja negra’ and the concert of the gospel choir ‘LivingWater’ this weekend are sold out.

The Riberas del Guadaíra Auditorium has become a “focus of cultural attraction and event organization with a great and loyal response not only by the citizens of Alcalá de Henares, but also by the public of the province and entities, companies and producers who choose us to hold their events here, for versatility and quality”. This has been expressed by the delegate of Culture and Tourism of the City Council, Christopher Rivas, who has highlighted the great reception for example of the events of the weekend, the Comparsa de Martínez Ares ‘la Oveja Negra’ on Friday April 12 and the concert of the LivingWater Gospel Choir on Saturday 13, both with all tickets sold out.

Rivas has presented the indoor programming of the Auditorium highlighting the variety of activities for different types of audiences. Highlights include the first-class Cadiz Carnival, concerts, musicals and tributes, as well as the end-of-year galas, especially on weekdays during May and June, of the music conservatory, educational centers, or dance academies of Alcalá and other municipalities. The delegate also highlighted the role of the Auditorium as a television set for well-known programs such as ‘Tierra de Talento’ and ‘El show de Bertín’ that through Canal Sur, show Alcalá and its Auditorium internationally.

These cultural offerings, added the delegate, are in addition to those offered in other municipal venues, such as the Gutiérrez de Alba Theater and the San Miguel Center, which together offer a wide range of cultural activities, from flamenco, song, music, theater, dance and musicals. He has also advanced that work is being done both in the programming of the last quarter, as in the scenic activities for the summer months, both in the Auditorium Gardens and in other spaces of Alcalá to ensure an attractive and quality cultural offer.
